Who We Are...
Bob Gahagan, Lexington Hotel, Seoul, Korea - with the Magic Umbrella
Bob Gahagan is the founder, principal and CEO/President of CCSI. He is a recognized government contract solutions and business development strategist, mentor, trainer, and coach. 

Prior to founding CCSI, Bob spent twenty-five years with the IBM Corporation before leaving voluntarily to found CCSI.  Since founding CCSI, he:
  • has guided companies to be awarded over $6B of new revenue and important contracts with both defense and civilian federal agencies, as well as state-and-local government agencies.
  • is a recognized trainer, coach, mentor and counselor
  • just completed an assignment as Proposal Manager for a winning $5M incumbent contractor proposal to a federal government agency recompetition
  • has delivered over 2000 student hours of procurement-related technical and communication training, and continues to provide such services.
  • has provided assistance to over 900 early-stage and emerging small companies in areas of government contracting basics & strategies, marketing & branding planning, and communication and networking strategies as a Small Business counselor at the government co-sponsored PTAC (Procurement Technical Assistance Center) in Fairfax, Virginia.
  • is an invited speaker at local, national, and international conferences discussing such topics as the US government procurement process, how to develop oral presentations for the government, and the challenges involved in hiring for proposal organizations.has participated as panelist and presenter at venues such as a two-day conference on "Doing Business with the US Government", sponsored by the Korean government in Seoul for 120 small and medium Korean companies that included simultaneous language translation.
At IBM, he managed and supported bid efforts that were awarded more than $3B in government contract awards. He co-created the initial customer service & product support strategy for the IBM Personal Computer. He co-created the first 5-Year Strategic Plan to manage a $500M inventory program at a 750-employee national parts logistics center.
